Dr Werner
Sattmann-Frese, Cert. Hol. Psych. MAppSc, PhD,
Member Australian Somatic Integration Association (ASIA). Werner studied conventional medicine and bodyoriented psychotherapy from 1977 to 1984. Since then he has been working as a psychotherapist, supervisor, trainer, and course facilitator. Werner also has a special interest in our psychosocial living conditions, in manifestations of physical illness, and in our current environmental crises. Besides working in private practice, he facilitates courses on emotional, psychosocial, and environmental sustainability throughout Australia and is a sessional lecturer and tutor at the University of Western Sydney. Lisa Frese, Cert.Hol. Psych., BA, Member ASIA. Lisa
has been involved in personal growth work for over twenty years. A qualified nurse and teacher, she trained as a body-psychotherapist with the Boyesen Foundation in Europe. Lisa has been in private practice since 1989. Integrating Somatic Psychotherapy psychodynamic theories and practices, she is passionate about the integration of attuned touch within an introspective empathic relationship. For the last six years she has been a teacher in several psychotherapy training programmes. |

Alan Isherwood, Cert. Teach, Grad. Dip. Indigenous Ed, Grad. Dip. Further Ed, M. Env. Ed. - Alan completed a Master’s in Environmental Education at Griffith University and the University of Copenhagen 1996 -1997. More recently, Alan has worked in collaboration with Werner in the coordination of “Sustainable Living For a Sustainable Earth” Workshops held in Cairns and the Tablelands during 2005 -2007. As part of his teaching background, Alan completed Post Grad. studies in Indigenous and Adult Education at Townsville and Underdale Colleges of Advanced Education during 1979 - 1984. He designed and facilitated Indigenous Bilingual Education, Adult Education and Teacher Orientation projects in remote Indigenous communities in the NT during 1980 - 1986. |

Professor Stuart B. Hill is Foundation Chair of Social Ecology at the University of Western Sydney. Stuart has published over 350 papers and reports. His latest books (with Martin Mulligan) are Ecological Pioneers: A Social History of Australian Ecological Thought and Action, (Cambridge UP, 2001) and (with Werner Sattmann-Frese) Learning for Sustainable Living: Psychology of Ecological Transformation (Lulu.Com, 2008).Stuart has worked in agricultural and development projects in the West Indies, French West Africa, Indonesia, The Philippines, China, and the Seychelles, as well as in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. |
